Center For Diagnostic Imaging Accountant I, Practice Admin - Remote in St. Louis Park, Minnesota

ACCOUNTANT I, Practice Admin - REMOTE RAYUS Radiology, formerly Center for Diagnostic Imaging, is looking for an Accountant I to join our Practice Admin team. This role may be performed remotely anywhere in the continental United States; ideally within the Minnesota Twin Cities metro area. We are looking for individuals who have a tenacious passion for accuracy and meeting deadlines. Cross-team collaboration will be a key component of success in this very important role. This is a full-time, remote working Monday thru Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for preparing financial reports for several professional organizations that partner with RAYUS Radiology. Key responsibilities include ensuring accurate reporting and assisting in analysis. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (70%) General Accounting Prepares monthly physician compensation reports with high level of detail and accuracy Prepares accurate journal entries on a timely basis Ensures timely closing of month-end Performs timely and accurate reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts Assist in preparing the monthly financial statements, ensuring integrity and tax compliance Calculate monthly professional fee payments for multiple organizations Assist in completing monthly physician compensation model (20%) Monthly Accounting Support Conducts ad hoc analysis at the request of leadership Assists with tax schedule reporting at year-end Research questions arising from physician compensation (10%) Performs other duties as assigned COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES) REQUIRED: Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures of cash accounting Ability to convey complex subject matter clearly and engagingly Ability to effectively handle details with accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines Skill in organizing and prioritizing work and following assignments through to completion Skill in written and verbal communication Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to be flexible in schedule and adaptable to constant change Ability to maintain regular attendance and on-time arrival to work as scheduled Ability to deliver high quality customer service to internal and customers by communicating with integrity and compassion Ability to resolve service recovery issues and understand when to escalate to the next level Ability to remain calm in difficult situations Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocols Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and safety guidelines SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures of cash accounting Ability to convey complex subject matter clearly and engagingly Ability to effectively handle details with accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines Skill in organizing and prioritizing work and following assignments through to completion Skill in written and verbal communication Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to be flexible in schedule and adaptable to constant change Ability to maintain regular attendance and on-time arrival to work as scheduled Ability to deliver high quality customer service to internal and customers by communicating with integrity and compassion Ability to resolve service recovery issues and understand when to escalate to the next level Ability to remain calm in difficult situations Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocols Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and safety guidelines Along with pay, the company provides a enefit program with real financial value.
