Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a Materials Specialist to join our surgical materials team! Position Summary: Manage the materials inventory and distribution processes for the department. Work Schedule: 1.0 FTE / Days 0600 - 14:30 (6AM-2:30PM) 8 Hour shifts Required Qualifications: Demonstrated computer skills (Windows and DOS based programs) Effective verbal and written communication skills This position requires familiarity and compliance with matters of law, regulation and internal policies affecting the employment relationship (including but not limited to FLMA, ADA, discrimination and harassment laws, HIPPA, FDA) Operating Room Technician (certification preferred) Medical and surgical terminology Knowledge surgical supplies and equipment Preferred Qualifications: High school graduate/GED strongly preferred, or equivalent supply chain experience Two years of experience in inventory management Benefits: Park Nicollet offers a competitive benefits package (for eligible positions) that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, a retirement program, time away from work, insurance options, tuition reimbursement, an employee assistance program, onsite clinic and much more!
