Regions Hospital Critical Care APC Supervisor in St. Paul, Minnesota

RHSC in St. Paul, MN is looking for an exceptional, patient focused APC Supervisor to join our Critical Care team and make a difference for our patients and our community. The APC Supervisor for Critical Care serves as the clinical and operational liaison for the RHSC employed advanced practice providers (APC) to department leadership. This position will develop and maintain APC schedules, oversee training/orientation for new APC staff, and provide performance management for existing APC staff. The APC Supervisor will partner with the Medical Director and Administrative Director for department operations and quality initiatives and will lead implementation of department priorities within the APC team. This position is estimated at 0.1 FTE and the remaining FTE (.9) spent in providing ICU clinical care. Work Schedule: As responsibilities necessitate. Must have a flexibility depending on the department needs. Required Qualifications: Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program. 3 - 5 years of providing direct patient care as an APC in an acute care setting (e.g. Hospital Medicine, Critical Care, and/or Emergency Medicine). Licensed as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner by the State of Minnesota. Current APC certification (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner). Current BLS and ACLS certification. Current DEA certification. Preferred Qualifications: 2 years' experience serving in a leadership role with direct reports.
