Adjunct Instructor (Marketing) - Part Time Business and Economics Description Position Details: Gustavus Adolphus College invites applications for a part-time position of Adjunct Instructor (or Assistant Professor with appropriate qualifications) in the Department of Business and Economics to begin August 15, 2025. The department anticipates a continued vacancy, and the successful candidate may be considered for continuation into additional years, contingent upon favorable review and the continuing needs of the College. We are one of the largest departments on campus, typically graduating 75-100 students each year, including approximately 25 accounting majors. Our graduates consistently secure positions with the top 20 accounting firms. Prerequisites What s required: MBA, MAcc, MBT or equivalent graduate degree preferred (candidates without a graduate degree who have significant experience in the field will be considered) Evidence of commitment to undergraduate teaching What s preferred: Prior experience in marketing or digital marketing The ability to create inclusive learning environments for an increasingly diverse student body will be an important characteristic of the successful candidate Prior experience in marketing, digital marketing, email marketing, marketing researching and/or other significant work experience Things you will do: Teach 1 course during the 2024 Fall semester and teach 1 course during Spring 2025 semester. The successful candidate will teach either Marketing or Digital Marketing to a group of driven and motivated undergraduate business management students.
