Additional Job Description
The Project Manager - Construction is responsible for the strategic guidance, implementation, and training of construction systems and processes. The Project Manager - Construction will also provide ongoing system ownership for construction, ensuring that consistent practices are used to maintain the integrity of the systems, policies & procedures as defined by the Mill Creek Residential Construction Group. The Project Manager - Construction will provide onsite as well as web based training for construction teams. The Project Manager - Construction is responsible for guiding the consistent use of construction systems. The Product Manager - Construction will ensure the effective delivery of products and services to meet the construction group’s needs.
Works closely with business and technical subject matter to gather requirements as well as identify, evaluate and select feasible solutions
Continuously assess processes to make ongoing improvements to how we develop, maintain, communicate and deliver projects to the company.
Develop an extensive working knowledge of construction and related applications
Develop and maintain training materials and schedules
Deliver training programs through both web-based and on-site methods
Lead national team of regional SME’s to deploy trainings and assistance
Troubleshoot training related issues reported by customers and provide support and training solutions via phone, email, or web support
Support and guide trainings engaging Construction Standard Operating Procedures
Develop, maintain and monitor business standards of best practice with key stakeholders
Performs other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience
Experience with Procore, construction management software, Textura CPM, construction payment management software
Experience with the development and delivery of training programs preferred
Construction industry experience preferred
Multi-family housing industry experience preferred
Experience with diagnosing problems with software products a plus
Strength in both classroom and online training delivery methods
Ability to travel to other MCRT offices and job sites
Strength in communicating technical information in non-technical terms
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to relate to others
Professional verbal and written communication skills
