Job Description:
Quality Engineer positions offered by Jabil Inc. (Monument, CO). Facilitate and organize complex, new and sustaining engineering projects for Smart Technology improvements within the plant. Develop project business cases and present within Jabil Monument Leadership group. Implement Computer Aided Quality systems within Jabil Monument including BabteQ inspection software and hardware. Collaborate with other functional groups, Jabil plants, outside support vendors and the BabteQ software vendor for successful implementation. Play key role in planning MES deployment at Jabil Monument through extensive collaboration between departments within Jabil Monument and other Jabil Health plants and for vendors. Identify and coordinate solutions for software interface requirements for SAP, BabteQ, MES, and Maximo. Coordinate and participate with the Validation group for hardware, software, and process changes.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a related field and 2 years of experience in the position offered or 2 years of experience performing quality assurance including computer aided quality process improvements . Also requires 2 years of experience: using Gage Metrology and inspection plans ; providing quality engineering support for medical device manufacturing including ensuring requirements and regulatory compliance ; instituting installation qualification, operational qualification, and process qualification protocols and preparing related reports ; utilizing six sigma and lean tools to detect process improvements including DMAIC, SPC, Process Mapping, and Value Stream mapping ; and managing projects including defining responsibilities, specifications and requirements, and establishing and executing the project schedule . Requires 1 year of experience: using test methods and creating Test Method Validation protocols and reports for the measurement systems designed for data collection ; leading manufacturing process improvement projects ; and solving problems related to non-conformances (NC), complaint investigations, audit observations, and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) . The pay range for this role is $94,370. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
