Job Description Summary

Join our dynamic Industrialization team and become a crucial part of our rapid prototype production process as a Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) Prototype Technician. We're seeking individuals who are skilled in both automated and manual Surface Mount manufacturing processes, with proficiency in setting up, operating, and adjusting SMT Printers, Pick and Place Machines, Ovens, Wash, and AOl equipment to ensure smooth production.

As a Prototype Technician, your primary focus will be to operate and maintain the machines based on engineers' specifications, ensuring continuous and efficient production. You'll handle the setup from scratch, monitor the process, and perform routine weekly cleaning checks. While fault finding is not part of your role, you'll be instrumental in keeping the production line running smoothly and efficiently. Candidates should ideally be located within commutable distance of Stafford or be willing to relocate to within commutable distance.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Manufacturing Excellence: Utilize both automated and manual surface mount manufacturing techniques to achieve high-quality PCB assembly.

  •  Equipment Operation: Set up, operate, and adjust SMT Printers, Pick and Place Machines, Ovens, Wash, and AOl equipment to ensure smooth production processes.

  •  Pick and Place Proficiency: Ideally, candidates should have experience with Pick and Place machines such as Fuji, Universal, or Europlacer, which is a valuable skill in this role.

  •  Collaboration: Work closely with Process Engineers to ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement.
