Job Information
The Director Product Management is responsible for overall growth and development of the total compact equipment portfolio. This includes business planning, voice of customer, product management, pricing, forecasts, distribution, aftermarket support and long range product roadmaps for all compact product line. Duties also include directing and coordinating the activities of the department and developing the liaison role to manufacturing and/or original equipment manufacturer supplier relationship for the product line.

Analysis:
Reviews analysis of activities, costs and forecast data to determine department progress toward stated goals and objectives.
Oversee key projects, processes and performance reports, data and analysis.
Responsible for the development of the product roadmap that includes product gross profit objectives, scan of current market conditions, identify product opportunity and resources to achieve goals.
Develop, conduct and draw conclusions on the results of research.
Implementation:
Develop and execute strategic plans;
Long range product roadmaps as well as other elements of the planning process.
Management:
Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies.
Develop team to assure management succession within the department.
Manage and develop employees.
Job Requirement
Education: Bachelor’s Degree; MBA preferred.
10-15 years of Product Management experience.
Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills required.
Excellent business acumen and process excellence skills.
Lead and direct the work of others.
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Knowledge of construction equipment channel, customers, products and markets preferred.
