Job Description
Serves as Administrative Coordinator II in the School of Nursing (SON). Works under the direction of the Dean of Nursing and exercises discretion and independent Judgment in coordinating all administrative support functions for the Dean and all nursing faculty. This is an in-office position located in Stephenville, Texas. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm or as work requirements indicate. Must be able to work remotely at the request of the University.
Responsibilities: 60%: Administrative Coordination Duties
Develops processes to streamline and improve workflow and initiate changes to existing and/or new standard operating procedures for the SON.
Assists with the management of the SON workload database system.
Composes SON correspondence and develops materials and presentations.
Publishes SON faculty committee assignments and faculty resource materials.
Maintains the SON calendar and schedules appointments for the SON Dean.
Schedules meetings, records meeting minutes, and tracks the completion of tasks for various SON committees, as appropriate.
Coordinates travel arrangements with the appropriate office for faculty searches and prepares itineraries.
Provides logistical and administrative support for faculty and staff events, meetings, and other special functions for the school.

- Ensures student and faculty record retention policies and procedures are followed.

Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three years of related experience
Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Strong interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.• Ability to manage through ambiguity and work cooperatively with others.• Ability to organize work effectively and prioritize objectives with high discretion.• Demonstrated ability in word processing, spreadsheet creation, database management, and presentation applications.
Salary:
Commensurate with experience
The target base annual salary is $ 39 ,120 ma y be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
