Job Title: H/R Operator
Job Description
Our client is seeking multiple Roller/Header Operators to join their 2nd shift team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for learning to set up and operate fastener machines, participate fully in the training program, and use appropriate measurement tools. This role involves reading blueprints, checking parts for surface discontinuities, and welding wire. Initial training will be conducted over a three-month period on the 1st shift before transitioning to the 2nd shift.
Responsibilities
Learn to set up and operate equipment (Fastener/Screw/Thread machines)
Participate fully in the training program
Learn to use appropriate measurement tools
Learn to read and understand blueprints
Learn to check parts for surface discontinuities
Learn to weld wire
Essential Skills
Fastener or Screw Machine Experience (working as a die setter, thread operator, roll operator, header operator)
Setup Experience (minimum 1 year)

Work Environment
The facility is a very clean fastener company located in Utica/Madison Heights. Initial training will be conducted on the 1st shift (5:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with occasional Fridays and Saturdays) before moving to the 2nd shift (3:30 PM to 1:30 AM).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Utica/Madison Heights, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
