JOB REQUIREMENTS: Community Horizons is assisting with recruitment for a person in our community! If you have a passion for helping others and are rewarded by helping adults with disabilities thrive in their homes, we want to hear from you! This position is within the self-direction program. Under self-directed services you work directly for the individual, which offers more work life balance and autonomy in your work day. This position is hired directly by the member/guardian and not through an agency. Hours available: Monday Friday, 4:00pm 8:00pm. No weekends! Wage: \$15.00/hour Tasks may include, but are not limited to: - Hands on support with toileting/cleanup/changing of incontinence products - Showering/bathing assistance (verbal cues and hands on assist) - Medication administration and monitoring for adverse side effect - Light meal prep and helping with feeding via cues and hands on support - Some light cleaning will be required Who we\'re looking for: - Someone who is reliable, dependable, and friendly - An individual comfortable working with those on the Autism spectrum (experience preferred!) - An acceptable background check - Great communication skills and ability to take direction Want to learn more about what\'s available?
