The Department of Family Medicine is seeking a high skilled evaluator to join our grants team. This role will be responsible for the data collection, management, evaluation and projection for our Area Health Education Centers program and our Health Careers Opportunity Program. The evaluator will be responsible for submission of all federal reports required by HRSA, process improvement, and all related initiatives. This is a full time, grant funded position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITES include the following:
Develops and maintains efficient methods of data collection to ensure all grant reportables are recorded including but not limited to:
Program Application
Eligibility audit prior to formal acceptance
Participant Progress and Completion
Curricular topics
Longitudinal post-completion tracking
Creates and maintains an internal quarterly report for grant partners.
Provides training/retraining when necessary
Reviews reports and provides feedback for areas of improvement
Completes all required reports to granting agencies including:
Quarterly Progress Reports
Non-Competing Continuation Reports
Annual Performance Reports
Outcomes reporting
Monitors program progress including but not limited to:
Directs the process and outcomes evaluation measures outlined in the work plans
Regularly review progress and work with program staff to identify gaps in curriculum
Uses data informed processes to address programmatic concerns including but not limited to recruitment and retention issues
Annually assesses the efficacy of programming towards stated goals
Identifies areas for publication and/or presentation of grant findings and results and leads the team towards that goal including IRB processes.
Works closely with the PIs and grant writing team to maximize programmatic success.
Provides leadership and innovation in the development of educational and evaluation components of the grant.
Identifies areas where grant teams can partner to maximize benefit to their participants.
Prepares communications, presentations, and reports for internal and external ad hoc distribution.
Organizes and participates in community advisory boards to assess program impact improvement of projects, as well as participate in data-driven improvement projects.
Understands and adheres to Rowan University compliance standards as they appear in RowanSOM's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
Keep abreast of all federal, state and University regulations, laws and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Public Policy & Management, Public Health, Health Administration, or other appropriate discipline, plus two to three years of relevant experience. Extensive knowledge of evaluation, methods, study design and analysis. Excellent research, writing and problem solving skills. Excellent technical knowledge and skills related to health promotion/education.
