About the role

We are currently seeking a Chief Building Engineer Supervisor to join our team and support one of our Medical clients. As the Chief Building Engineer Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the maintenance and repair of all building systems and equipment on the client's properties. You will supervise a team of building engineers and technicians to ensure that all facilities are well-maintained and operate efficiently.

What you’ll do

  • Be responsible for all aspects of account operations in their designated region.

  • Lead team in daily workflow management to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and budgetary objectives.

  • Fostering a culture where the team acts proactively to identify and resolve issues swiftly for optimal store operation and customer service.

  • Conduct regular team meetings to implement standardized processes, handle hiring procedures, submit technician headcounts, develop on-call lists, supervise expense reports, train new hires, ensure proper tools and training for technicians, and serve as the On-Call Supervisor after hours.

  • Drive regional teams to achieve account KPIs and budget targets, optimizing work order priorities to balance performance goals with budget constraints and minimize disruptions to store operations.

  • Strategize solutions to retain high-cost work orders in-house while reassigning low-cost, time-intensive tasks to third-party vendors for efficient workload management.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need

  • 2+ years experience in the healthcare industry.

  • Compliance Background preferred but not required.

  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems and fire safety regulations.

  • Proven history of effective leadership with a track record of optimally guiding and encouraging teams to achieve their goals.

  • Excellent organizational skills.
