Job Title: Field Service Technician
Job Description
Candidates will be performing repairs and last-minute checks on equipment. They will be troubleshooting the equipment and interfacing with customers about the problems with the machines and how they will operate. Candidates will travel to customer sites and provide phone support when not onsite. Travel is nationwide with employees being home on the weekends.
Responsibilities
Perform repairs and last-minute checks on equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment and interface with customers regarding machine issues and operations.
Travel to customer sites to provide onsite support.
Provide phone support when not onsite.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience as a Technician troubleshooting and repairing filling, food production, or packaging equipment.
2+ years of mechanical troubleshooting experience.
2+ years of demonstrated experience troubleshooting or installing equipment with mechanical and electrical functions.
2+ years of experience traveling for fieldwork.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical skills

Work Environment
This is mainly a first shift position with the hours being 7am-3:30pm. Travel will be 75% or more, and candidates do not need to be local. Once trained, candidates can come from anywhere within 1.5 hours of a major airport. The work environment is a clean manufacturing shop, following standards and procedures similar to food manufacturers. Most facilities will be GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environments.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
