Corporate Financial Analyst Position Summary:Transform the overarching company strategy by developing the financial modeling to effectively produce forecasts and budgets. Use the modeling to produce annual targets for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all companies and departments. Drive the production of an all-encompassing company budget from the ground up to provide the senior management with a clear picture of the direction the company is moving in. Develop key factors for the accurate forecasts of cash flows for the company.

Corporate Financial Analyst Position Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage/lead the annual budget process for all entities.
  • Manage/lead the forecasting process for all entities.
  • Manages the completion of weekly forecasts for companys cash availability and line of credit availability relating to receivables and inventory.
  • Assists the CFO with the monthly consolidated financials for the parent company
  • Assists the CFO with the completion of requirements for the companys financial audits the credit facility bank, inventory appraisal and external accountants
  • Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Create/establish Standard of Operations (SOPs) documentation as needed.
  • Responsible for establishing, maintaining, analyzing and true ups of corporate allocation of expenses among entities.
  • Review intercompany billings among entities and analyze/validate intercompany profit margins for consolidated financial reporting purposes.
  • Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Project work from CFO, COO and CEO as directed.
  • Project manage as necessary projects (create and implement project plans).
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Corporate Financial Analyst Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting/Finance
  • CPA with minimum 4 years prior experience in public accounting is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years prior experience in a FPandA role including budgeting and forecasting is preferred
  • Manufacturing and Wholesale/Distribution experience is preferred
  • Corporate consolidation financial reporting experience is preferred
  • Multi-currency financial reporting experience is preferred
  • Forecasting model building experience is preferred
  • Working knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate computerized accounting, specifically Microsoft Dynamics - GP and spreadsheet programs
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Excellent data entry and math skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
  • Effective organizational, stress and time management skills
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently or as a team member

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
