THE POSITION

  • Quality Management System and Document control (QMS, ISO 9001/IATF16949)

  • Adopting the company's interests regarding strategic management of quality. Lead the re-­certification / surveillance audit process to maintain company certificates.

  • Maintenance of management system in conformity with IATF 16949, Continental AG, and Customer requirements.

  • Verification of procedures, work instructions, and forms prepared by specialized departments to determine if they are in accordance with the rules/norms, department approval, participation, and collaboration in preparing the documents; archival process.

  • Implement continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system.

  • Control of external reference documents, i.e., AIAG reference manuals, customer requirements, etc.

  • Maintain Quality Manual, including processing revisions to Company Procedures and Technical Manuals.

  • Internal Audits.

  • Planning and realization of annual audits, planning of system, process, and layered process audits.

  • Follow-up on corrective actions related to internal and external audits in the CQ system database.

  • Verification, follow-up, and implementation of defined corrective action.

  • Schedule unplanned audits due to non-compliance audits and follow up on customer complaints.

  • Schedule and follow up on re-qualification audits (annual layout inspection).

  • Training: Plan and train all personnel regarding quality systems and new requirements from standards, customers, modifications, or internal.

  • Management Review: -Supervise all department’s KPI reports (key performance indicators), collect and prepare the data.

  • Provide analysis and judgment to production regarding the acceptability of the product for customer use.

  • Support new product introduction and investigation activities, including review of PFMEA and initial control plans, including participation in APQP.

  • Provide expertise in SPC concepts, including process stability, capability, and reaction to “statistically out of control” situations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS Engineering degree

  • 2+ years of working experience in manufacturing and working knowledge of Quality Systems

  • Experience with ISO9000 and 16949

This position is part of the One ContiTech reorganization. ContiTech employees will be given preference in the candidate selection.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of working experience in manufacturing and working knowledge of Quality Systems
