Director - Global Logistics & Fulfillment Responsibilities:
As the Director of Global Logistics & Fulfillment, you will lead all aspects of the company’s end-to-end global logistics network, from inbound freight and warehousing to outbound distribution and last-mile delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
Strategic Leadership & Operations Management
Define and execute the global logistics and fulfillment strategy to support current business needs and future growth.
Oversee a complex, multi-node global distribution network, optimizing efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
Partner closely with supply chain, planning, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Manage 3PL providers, freight carriers, and fulfillment partners to drive service-level.
Lead initiatives to enhance network agility, reduce transit times, and improve cost efficiency.
Implement and oversee best-in-class logistics processes, driving operational efficiencies and continuous improvement.
Utilize data analytics, forecasting, and automation to improve logistics decision-making.
Lead network optimization projects, ensuring the company’s logistics strategy aligns with business growth.
Develop and manage KPIs around on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, cost per shipment, and fulfillment cycle times.
Work cross-functionally with engineering, IT, and finance teams to build logistics capabilities that support business growth.
Partner with customer service teams to proactively address shipping issues and drive a seamless post-purchase experience.
Align with legal and compliance teams to navigate trade regulations, customs, and tariffs globally.
Team Leadership & Vendor Management
Lead, mentor, and develop a global logistics and fulfillment team.
Build relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, freight forwarders, and last-mile carriers.
Ensure logistics contracts and SLAs are negotiated to drive optimal service levels and costs.

Global Logistics Strategy & Execution (Expert)
3PL & Carrier Management (Advanced) – Proven track record in negotiating contracts, setting SLAs, and managing provider performance.
Data Analytics & Logistics Technology (Advanced) – Familiarity with ERP, WMS, TMS, and AI-driven demand forecasting tools.
Process Improvement & Automation (Advanced) – Experience implementing LEAN, Six Sigma, or other process optimization methodologies.
Regulatory Compliance & Trade (Intermediate-Advanced) – Understanding of import/export laws, customs regulations, and global trade agreements.
Financial Acumen (Intermediate) – Manage budgets, control logistics costs, and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
Leadership & Team Development (Advanced) – people-management skills with experience leading global teams.

Master’s degree or MBA with a focus on logistics, supply chain, or operations.
Experience in consumer electronics, e-commerce, or high-tech industries.
Expertise in AI-driven supply chain analytics, automation, and warehouse robotics.
Certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), CLTD (Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution), or Lean Six Sigma.
Experience with direct-to-consumer (DTC) fulfillment and omnichannel logistics.
Public Compensation:
$207,000/year to $262,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
