Product Operations group is looking to add a Data Program Manager to support data systems, automation, and tools that enhance manufacturing of Apple's products. You will be responsible for driving the readiness of data collection and reporting for Apple’s products around the world. This team works to ensure our product manufacturing data collection, analytics, and reporting are ready along with new product requirements during its many lifecycles (prototype through sustaining). This team is made up of creative innovators and problem solvers who tackle unique challenges to ideate, replicate those ideas into concepts and deliver new solutions in the data space. It takes deeply dedicated, intelligent and hard-working individuals to maintain and exceed the high expectations for the exciting iPhone brand and other products at Apple.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of project or program management, internal product management experience in highly technical field

  • Program, product management backgrounds with proven track record of end to end project execution

  • Familiarity with databases, large data sets, dashboards, business metrics and business intelligence solutions and projects

  • Experience with manufacturing infrastructure concepts with ability to define requirements or identify process improvements

  • Analytical mindset with ability to work with large data sets for planning, problem solving and or identifying improvements

  • Proven relationship building and ability to effectively influence peers and management

  • General operations and factory knowledge, good judgment on what is meaningful to drive impact

  • Tableau / Data Visualization skills and scripting (Python, SQL)

  • Able to develop and present complex problems in a simple way under tight timelines and present the findings both at a working and executive level

  • Able to work independently when managing multiple priorities in an unstructured, global and virtual environment is essential.

  • Highly desirable to have high tech manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, NPI or Manufacturing Operations related education / experience (but not required)

The Product Operations Data Team is looking for an extraordinary Program manager. You will craft, design and implement our data strategy to the massive iPhone supply chain and help build the future of our manufacturing systems. Key Responsibilities: Program management of data initiatives - scoping, prioritization, resourcing, and implementation Build and lead teams cross-functional teams, set agenda, set schedule, set deliverables, assign actions, drive completion. Provide strategic and tactical recommendations for improving service levels and reducing expense with critical metrics for performance management Lead the definition and execution of scalable solutions to support core internal customer needs and to improve process efficiencies Lead the ideation, prototyping, and business justification/validation of solutions for Product Ops Own fulfillment of service requests related to manufacturing data collection across Apples supply network and product lines towards service levels Prototype solutions before providing recommendations on directions. e.g. create dashboard mock-ups before investing in development effort Comfortable and flexible in serving both supporting and leadership roles for various projects 


Education & Experience

BS Degree or equivalent degree + experience, MBA is considered a plus.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $119,900.00 and $181,000.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
