PWS is the biggest division of Logitech, consisting of the tech devices and apps that help people be at their creative and productive best in their workspace. Our PWS business is a key pillar of Logitech’s future as a global brand known for great design and exceptional user experiences.
You will lead in executing a new product in a range of segments, including human-interface devices, personal workplace solutions, human-computer interaction, and other emerging technologies. You will lead the mechanical design and development of PWS projects: Deeply understand the users’ needs, translate them into product and mechanical engineering specifications, deploy to ME solutions, and deliver to mass production.
You will be based in our Suzhou office, and report to the Mechanical Team Manager.

Execute new PWS product as a technical leader, heavily through feasibility study, concept design, mechanical design, risk analysis, and validation to ensure project goal, cost, and schedule are met, even exceeded.
Mechanical engineering technology research and development: Dig out the internal and external customers’ needs, create a technology roadmap, communicate with stakeholders, get to alignment, and manage technology projects.
As a consultant provide mechanical engineering expertise in hardware specification, design, and issue investigation.
Communication and coordination with suppliers, and internal and external customers to develop and refine the product mechanical design and development process covering from defining product engineering specifications, design, prototyping, and qualification till mass production.
Partner and collaborate with other functions (PM, EE, CMF, and so on) in the China Gaming team to achieve seamless product design and development.
Key Qualifications
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
8+ years experience in mechanical design and development of high-volume consumer electronic products;
3+ years experience as ME technical leader to define, plan, and monitor ME activities of technical or NPI projects;
Plus experience: Coaching junior ME to provide technical direction or guidance, and managing ME crisis.
Desired Soft and Technical Skills
Always has the end-user experience in mind to drive technical and communication solutions(Innovation);
Self-motivated, passionate with a high energy level, embedded growth mindset
Good communication in English, both oral and written ;
Master skilled in problem-solving (8D, PDCA, DMICA ) and risk assessment (FMEA)
Geometrical tolerance knowledge;
Tolerance analysis and statistical analysis;
Knowledge in injection molding or stamping, die casting, etc, and metal processing.
Master in CAD - Creo would be the preference;
Plus as a master in CAE - Asys.
Education
Bachelor or Master in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
