We are looking for a passionate and driven Team Assistant/Candidate Care Specialist to join the Talent Acquisition team here at Stryker (Sydney or Melbourne).

The successful applicant with be pivotal to facilitating interviewing and bringing diverse talent onto the Stryker team.

The mission of the Candidate Care Specialist is to help ensure all Stryker candidates receive a positive recruiting experience regardless if an offer is extended. The scope of the position is support of recruiting efforts for Stryker South Pacific (Australia and New Zealand).

Responsibilities include:

Candidate Care

  • Responsible for supporting our TA team in creating positive Candidate Experience during the recruitment process.

  • Ownership of all scheduling and communication for interviews between hiring manager/Stryker and candidates across the region.

  • Working on related projects in Candidate Care in region for service delivery and continuous process improvement

Talent Acquisition

  • Handling contract administration, payments and Workday set up with external recruitment firms.

  • Owning the background and reference check process.

  • Supporting Recruiters with job postings and CV screening when needed.

  • Assisting with the launch and execution of Recruitment marketing campaigns when needed

  • Assist with planning and execution of physical/virtual hiring events (i.e. campus recruitment)

  • May work with recruiters throughout the candidate lifecycle, up to and including: interview training and techniques, participating in career fairs, recruiting opportunities for lower level roles (under the guidance of a Stryker recruiter), and participating in strategy sessions with recruiters and hiring managers.

  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Compliance

  • Will be responsible for correctly following all Stryker recruitment processes and documenting activity in designated system(s)

Training

  • Will work with new Candidate Care Specialists and TA team members to train them to global CCS standards.

Skills & experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification by degree and related work experience required.

  • Excellent time management skills are a must - this role will have a large degree of juggling calendars and problem solving.

  • Strong interpersonal skills including communication (via phone, e-mail, instant messaging, etc)

  • Ability to multitask and bring tasks through to completion with minimal supervision

  • Ability and comfort to communicate and build relationships at all levels of candidates and stakeholders in the organization.

  • Attention to detail, accountability, and organization while working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be able to learn systems and processes well.

  • Must be able to manage time and high workloads.

  • Take ownership and demonstrate a commitment and passion for doing excellent/high quality work with a positive attitude.

  • Ability to prioritize work and keep detailed, accurate and confidential information and records.

Work experiences:

  • 1+ years of office experience

  • Prior experience in candidate scheduling or recruitment coordination would be beneficial, but not necessary.
