Our Facilities Management division is seeking to expand our technical capability with the view of providing our client and teams with high quality technical services that support our on-site facilities teams by completing maintenance tasks across multiple client sites.
Here’s a snapshot of your day:
The Maintenance Technician is an operational role and will deliver all services expected by our client. The role will perform general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of assets and building systems across the client sites.
Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance
Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems
Reviews assigned work orders.
Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair.
Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.
Responds quickly to emergency situations
Identify any problem areas affecting their area of responsibility and develop, implement, and monitor appropriate strategies to address these issues.
Contribute to a positive guest, client, and customer experience by communicating effectively with guests, visitors, customers, retailers and staff.
The Ideal Candidate
Repairs and Maintenance of assets and systems within a commercial or retail sector
Understand the requirements for maintenance services in a property environment
Flexible and willing to take on other tasks where necessary to support overall business outcomes
Ability to maintain effective communication channels with the Facilities Supervisors and client or their representative.
Eye to detail and customer/guest focus.
Capacity to proactively deal with issues and their causes.
Relevant and valid WHS cards
Suitable Trade qualifications or experience
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS
Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle
