Kuehne+Nagel National Business Development Manager in Sydney, Australia

Seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Sydney!

Your Role

You will be responsible for developing + diversifying the business in line with financial + volume targets. You will place a strong focus on market penetration through sales leads + business development strategies to ensure the capture of new customers. Your focus will be on growing large complex accounts and developing the domestic and international supply chain portfolio.

Your Responsibilities

  • To own, monitor + drive all sales activities for (i.e. prepare quotation) customers within your control, ensuring prospects are identified, qualified + nurtured through the sales pipeline so as to close profitable + sustainable customer deals.

  • To monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing + products.

  • To report customer feedback to the broader team, supporting resolutions as required.

  • To assist in onboarding of new customers

  • To maintain + update the most relevant customer information in internal systems.

  • To regularly review customer portfolios #LI-DNI

  • To focus on customer engagement, satisfaction, retention + reactivation through high levels of service quality.

  • Prior experience in a similar role and/or industry is highly desirable

  • Proven track record in delivering against set targets

  • Ability to communicate effective to internal and external stakeholders.
