Description:
MUST HAVES
TYPICAL DAY
Go to counter to get order that you will be responsible for picking
Get power pallet jack and take it to the pallet area, here you pick you pallet (Wegmans has it's own, every other customer uses wooden)
Find aisle and bay your product is in and pick per the order
Order will be set up to pick heaviest items first so they build out a base on the pallet and then lighter items last
Shrink wrap by hand as you go to keep everything held in
Once order is complete, drop off at doc for quality check and shipping
Repeat
Orders can range from 1 item to 1000+ items
Shift/Pay
Sunday-Thursday $19.75hr
RESPONSIBILITIES
Select stock to fill customer orders
Read order requirements and shelf locations
Ensure order accuracy while meeting productivity goals
Build and prepare pallets for shipping
Safely operate equipment required to pick stock from shelves
Work with team members and supervisors to ensure coordination of work
Perform additional job duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Able to read and speak English
Able to lift 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift
Able to stand, walk, lift and bend for extended periods of time
Able to pass a pre-employment drug
