Description
This position is responsible for the development, oversight, coordination and continuous improvement of programs designed to serve high-risk children and families through residential services. The position reports to the Residential Director of Program Operations. Working beyond 40 hours a week should be anticipated at various times during the year. The ideal candidate will be forward thinking and able to work on a strategic level with their supervisor in order to “grow” the role in order to be positioned to meet agency needs now and in the future.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct oversight of program supervisors, and staff as directed by theResidential Director of Program Operations.
Regularly collect, analyze and communicate data to the Residential Director of Program Operations, regarding the function of the various programs overseen and together collaborate and develop plans for improvement.
Provide training, coaching, mentorship and feedback to program supervisors in order to ensure a continuous improvement of operation and service.
Assist program supervisors with the development of new programming as needs emerge on the case and program levels.
Oversee and ensure that the utilization of agency resources (staffing, overtime, supplies, petty cash, etc.) is consistent with budget limits, the needs of clients served, and accountability is occurring at any point in time.
Ensure that every programs are operating within standards and guidelines of regulators and agency policy.
Oversee all aspects of Residential Operations in the Director’s absence or unavailability.
Other duties as assigned by the Residential Director of Program Operations.
Essential Job Functions:
Ability to stand, kneel, bend, sit, squat, crawl walk and run as the nature of this position may dictate.
Ability to lift 50lbs without assistance. 100lbs with assistance.
Ability to lift arms over head in upward reaching motion
Ability to walk up and downstairs up to several times per day.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) from an accredited institution.
Previous demonstrable management experience a plus.
Ability to achieve TCI and Boystown certifications.
