Eaton Corporation Scrap Materials Processor & Handler in Syracuse, New York

Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Scrap Materials Processor & Handler. The core hours are 2:30pm -10:30pm. The hourly rate for this position is $19.04 per hour.

  • Receive, store, select, and deliver bar stock to various departments.

  • Reconcile receiving reports to count of incoming goods and report discrepancies to supervision.

  • Assist with organization in the chip room & dispose of excess chips as necessary.

  • Count parts by hand or using a weighing scale.

  • Perform trucking duties as they are required for various departments as they relate to Bar Stock, Chip Processing, and Screw Machine.

  • Perform simple packing duties as directed to form boxes, pick and kit parts from the supermarket.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.

  • A minimum of six (6) months of Machine Operating and Fork Truck experience.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographic area (50 miles) of Syracuse, NY will be considered for this position
