Responsibilities

About the Role:

As a Urology Clinic RN, you will play a vital role in providing professional nursing services focused on quality patient care in a clinic setting. You will be responsible for direct patient care, including assessing, coordinating, triaging, evaluating, and delegating work to members of the patient care team. You will also provide education and consultation to patients, families, physicians, and other staff members to implement appropriate nursing interventions for optimal patient care.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver professional nursing care to clinic patients, including diagnostic testing and related clinical procedures.

  • Independently triage nursing situations in accordance with standing orders/protocols.

  • Administer patient medications per written provider order and maintain accurate medication logs.

  • Assist with point of care testing (CLIA-Waived Tests only)/lab tests following established protocols.

  • Document procedures and interactions in the patient's electronic medical record.

  • Prepare patients for practitioner visits, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and recording relevant information.

  • Organize exam rooms, including cleaning, upkeep, and restocking supplies.

  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and competence in communication and patient care.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.

  • One year of RN work experience in a clinic setting OR two years of acute care RN work experience preferred.

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Washington State Board of Nursing.

  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.

Pay Range

$40.38 - $65.14 /hour
