As a CBRE Procurement Specialist, you will assist a client or department with the development and execution of sourcing and procurement strategies.

This job is part of the Procurement function. Responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods, services, or raw materials from vendors and suppliers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure full implementation of Procurement policy and Coupa Procurement system.

  • Effective management and oversight of all third-party arrangements maintaining the quality standards and business user’s business specifications through efficient fulfillment of demand, driving customer value, enhancing organizational responsiveness, building network resiliency, and facilitating financial success.

  • Administers sourcing event, conducts pre-bid discussion when/if necessary and prepares/monitors approval of canvass sheet

  • Develops and implements the procurement policies and strategies to maximize vendor effectiveness. Monitors vendor’s performance and industry trends. Recommends changes in policies and procedures, if necessary.

  • Periodically collaborate with business users, other concerned departments, and decision makers to share information, solve concerns and issues and clarify management objectives for all third-party arrangements

  • Research and look for credible vendors and perform due diligence. Structures and negotiates third party arrangements and monitors together with the business users, adherence to agreed-upon service levels. Ensures that the SLAs must be reviewed and updated periodically by the business users, as determined by the contract terms.

  • Monitors third party activities to help identify opportunities to improve performance and risk management capability. Proactive and effective project risk management can help to predict and then prevent major implementation problems. Closely collaborate with Procurement Unit to manage vendor relationship and assist in building effective business partnership.

  • Ensures that all compliance matters are identified and openly and honestly reported to the Line Manager and/or Compliance Officer in accordance with the reporting requirements operated within the work unit and the Company.

  • Perform other functions as may be assigned from time to time.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.

  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

  • Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

  • Other desirable qualifications may include knowledge of procurement processes and regulations, strong analytical and negotiation skills, proficiency in using procurement software or systems, and excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
