Principal Electrical Signal Integrity Engineer

Dell’s Enterprise Signal Integrity Team drives innovation in the field of Signal Integrity pushing the boundaries of next generation high speed signaling. The team members are accomplished industry experts with multiple patents and publications. The Signal Integrity team focuses on innovative solutions around portfolio-wide transmission line in the design and support of enterprise server platform development.

Join us as an Electrical Signal Integrity Engineer on our Electrical Engineering Development team in Taipei to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What you’ll achieve

As an Electrical Signal Integrity Engineer, you will design, modify and evaluate high speed signal integrity to build electronic equipment and other hardware systems for server platforms.

You will:

  • Model and measure PCB transmission lines, vias, connectors, cables and flex cables

  • Analyze current return path and signal to noise coupling for single-ended and differential traces

  • Assist in the design review of server platform board designs

  • Generate test matrix of high speed bus and coordinate vendor resource on validation.

  • Drive signal integrity issue triage and error debugging.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Knowledge of Signal Integrity theory and Electromagnetic theory

Desirable Requirements

  • Skill and experience of using Matlab, HSPICE, HFSS, ADS, Scope, VNA or TDR
