Job Purpose or Goals
You will work directly with the business to support IT projects and systems. You will engage with business user groups at all levels to provide support for production systems and requested projects. You will report to the Director of Program Delivery.
Tasks:
You will establish project requirements using interviews, document analysis, surveys, business process descriptions, use case scenarios and workflow analyses.
Prepare detailed requirements specification documents, user interface guides, business process/workflow diagrams, functional and technical specification documents to support everything from small system enhancements to larger scale project deployments.
Conduct needs analysis, organizational readiness assessments, and improve analysis to identify opportunities to link processes throughout the organization to achieve efficiency.
Help develop new business processes and monitors processes to ensure they are effective.
You will work with business owners and partners to develop acceptance criteria and a plan to facilitate user testing to ensure that the solution meets the requirements.
Prepare test plans, implement test scripts, and document results to ensure management and remediation of identified defects. Document user training materials, process guides, and conduct user training.
Provide regular updates to IT and business user management through presentations, status reports, and meeting minutes.

Job Requirements:
Associates Degree or 2 years related experience.
Work with management, business staff, and IT personnel to compile information on project requirements and negotiate disputes.
Professional IT Certification
Knowledge of at least one project methodology (PMI, Prince2, or Agile Project Management), the software development life cycle (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and at least one relational database management system (prefer MS SQL Server or Oracle)
Proficient in Visio, Project, SharePoint, and TFS) with intermediate to advanced Excel skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets).
Minimum of three years directly related experience in an Business Systems Analyst capacity, including all aspects of process development
