TEKsystems Sr. Business Analyst in Tallahassee, Florida

MUST BE WILLING TO GO ONSITE FIVE TIMES A WEEK! MUST BE ABLE TO GO DIRECT WITH CLIENT!

The primary goal of this BA is to ensure the high quality, reliability, and performance of the software product by conducting comprehensive business analysis. The project will be executed by a dedicated BA team and will follow industry best practices and standards. This position reports to the PMO Office and provides critical Business Analysis of programs and practices of the assigned project.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The scope of the Sr. Business Analyst encompasses the following key areas:

  1. Requirements Elicitation and Analysis:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

• Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to identify business needs, goals, and constraints.

• Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions to ensure clear and concise understanding of project objectives.

  1. Business Process Analysis:

• Analyze existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

• Propose process reengineering solutions to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.

  1. Requirements Documentation:

• Create clear and comprehensive requirement documents, including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), Use Cases, and User Stories.

• Ensure all requirements are documented, organized, and approved by relevant stakeholders.

  1. Stakeholder Management:

• Identify and engage key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Facilitate communication between business users, project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and consensus on requirements.

  1. Solution Validation and Verification:

• Validate proposed solutions against defined business requirements and ensure they meet the intended objectives.

• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify that the delivered product meets user needs.

  1. Change Management and Impact Analysis:

• Assess the impact of proposed changes on the organization, processes, and systems.

• Develop change management strategies and plans to support successful implementation.

  1. Risk Assessment:

• Identify project risks related to requirements and propose mitigation strategies.

• Work closely with project teams to address and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.

  1. Documentation Management:

• Maintain a repository of project-related documents, including requirements, meeting notes, and analysis artifacts.

  1. Test Management:

• Develop test cases and conduct testing as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Requirements and skills

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Business Analyst or similar role

• Proven work experience as a Business Analyst or similar role

• Experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong computer skills and knowledge of databases and applications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Meticulous attention to detail

• Relevant training and/or certifications as a Business Analyst

• Experience and Exposure to Microsoft CRM Dynamics (preferred)

Knowledge - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems and/or a related field or equivalent experience required.

Skills/Abilities – A multi-task-oriented individual able to assess situations quickly; problem-solver.

Strong ability to be self-directed and motivate, coordinate, and direct team effort. Must possess practical oral and written communication skills - as well as small/large group presentation, cultural competence, organizational, and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to use tact, patience and courtesy in group and one-on-one settings. Must be able to read, interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Strong PC skills required (i.e., Microsoft Office). Bilingual language skills are a plus.
