Amergis 8 WK CONTRACT | ER RN | Glen Burnie, MD in Tampa, Florida

Position: Emergency Room RN

Openings: 1 opening

Hours: 36 hrs per week

Shift: 8p-8:30a

Location: Glen Burnie, MD 21061

Contract Duration: 8 Weeks

Start Date: 2-3 weeks out - Orientation is held E/O Wednesday

Time off requests must be provided with submission.

Submission Requirements: Up to date resume and 2 supervisor references

Additional Information:

  • Required Skills: 2 years of relative/recent experience at minimum.

  • Specific licensure and certifications/registrations required: Active MD or compact state RN license. Active BLS & ACLS required.

  • All interested candidates are required to have current NCI/CPI training.

  • This can be accommodated by the facility upon request

  • Interview process: Phone screen

  • COVID Vaccine required – exemptions approved but need to be reviewed by Amergis ER team.

  • High volume unit

  • 63 total beds in the ED

  • Parking garage for employees – free parking

    Travel Rate: 50+ miles

    • Allowances: Lodging: $805 - Meals: $483 - Total Weekly Stipends: $1,288

    • Taxable: Pay Rate: $25.36 x 36 hrs = $912

    • Total Weekly Paycheck: $2,200

    *Hours worked over 40 will be paid out at 2X the hourly rate ($25.36 x 2 = $50.72)

    Local Rate: 50- miles

    • Taxable Pay Rate: $44.46 x 36 hrs = $1,600

    • Hours worked over 40 will be paid out at 1.5 the hourly rate ($44.46 x 1.5 = $66.69)
