Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location.
Duties: Communicate with end-users to develop an understanding of their expectations and intended uses for applications, and gather requirements for enhancing application features. Document functional requirements through FRDs. Create workflow diagrams, screen mockups and other types of system requirements using MS Visio. Perform functional testing using Zephyr test management tool, write test plans, execute test cases and log defects. Create JIRAs for bugs and work with development team to implement fixes. Perform execution of test cases by verifying/validating data in database using SQL queries. Ensure that the delivered product satisfies end user requirements. Obtain understanding of existing application's functions, along with its features and the data workflow in order to build new simplified user-friendly platforms. Understand components dependency on each other within the application and make sure the data flow within the components is efficient in new platform. Document requirements for developers using JIRA. Break down end-user requirements based on scope and sprint timeline. Create JIRA stories, distribute them into sub-tasks, determine the acceptance criteria and provide any additional details needed to complete the stories. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related technical field and 3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or related position involving software and application development and testing. 3 years of experience must include: Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); Jira tools to write and execute test scripts for functional testing on applications; SQL Developer and databases to write queries to gather information from multiple sources, make recommendations, validate and verify data, and conduct data analysis; System Analysis Design to create workflow diagrams, structure charts, screen mockups, & use cases; Creating functional requirement documents; and Software testing and quality assurance to write test scripts and identify bugs.
