Citigroup Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst in Tampa, Florida

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location.

Duties: Perform software engineering and design of financial applications using Java. Deliver IT solutions to continuously evolve PPL web-based applications and contribute to all stages of SDLC including requirements gathering, software design, software development, testing and integration, deployment, operationalization and maintenance. Enhance existing processes and develop workflows for streamlining PPL and its integration with systems including DSMT and CR&C. Use Java Persistence API, Java Transaction API, Hibernate, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST Services, HTML, EXT JS, Shell Scripting, Kafka, Data Definition Language, Data Manipulation language, and PL/SQL. Collaborate to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals and identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements. Use Eclipse, Oracle, GIT, Bitbucket, Tomcat, MS Office Suite, Teams, Release management Tool (RLM), Autosys, Jenkins, Junit, Sonar, uDeploy. Resolve high impact issues through evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. Perform application programming, and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint. Apply knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. Provide strong hands-on engineering leadership driving key architectural decisions and implementing frameworks in the big data space. Be the technical expert and mentor other team members on Big Data and Cloud Tech stacks. Apply knowledge of business, architecture and infrastructure and integrate to accomplish business goals. Provide analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Technology Consultant, Software Developer or related position designing financial applications. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 6 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 4 years of experience must include: Software engineering and design; Java, Java Persistence API, Java Transaction API, Hibernate, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST Services, HTML, EXT JS, Shell Scripting, Kafka, Data Definition Language, Data Manipulation language, PL/SQL; Eclipse, Oracle, GIT, Bitbucket, Tomcat, MS Office Suite, Teams, Release management Tool (RLM), Autosys, Jenkins, Sonar, uDeploy; and J2EE, JPA, Writing SQL queries, Korn Shell Script.
