Actalent Distribution Project Manager in Tampa, Florida

Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description

We are looking for a Distribution Project Manager dedicated to Commercial New Construction Projects. The individual must have experience in either distribution design or construction. The role involves using a work management program called WorkPro. The typical project lifecycle includes initial intake, customer outreach and introduction, overseeing the engineering/design phase done by the Design and Development Team (DDT), and field interactions with customers during construction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial project intake and customer outreach.

  • Oversee the engineering/design phase carried out by the Design and Development Team (DDT).

  • Interact with customers in the field during construction.

  • Utilize the WorkPro work management program.

  • Manage project coordination and customer relationships.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in distribution design or construction.

  • 5+ years of distribution design experience or 3+ years of distribution project management.

  • Proficiency in project management and construction management.

  • Experience with WorkPro.

  • Strong customer relationship management skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with transmission and distribution.

  • Knowledge of utility companies such as Florida Power & Light, Tampa Electric, and Duke Energy.

Work Environment

The typical work schedule includes a mix of office and field work. The position may be based at the closest operations center or in a downtown plaza. Although no company vehicle is provided, mileage expenses for fieldwork can be reimbursed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $67.00/hr.
