Maintenance Technician II (Industrial Mechanic)
Objectives/Purpose of the Job:
Perform facility repairs and maintain production equipment while performing mechanical and electrical repairs, process work orders. This position is a weekend coverage position and is intended to provide 24/7 coverage to the site.
Key Activities/Responsibilities:
Process daily work orders and upgrades of facility equipment.
Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM’s) as assigned on scheduledequipment.
Installation of new equipment and parts.
Assist Utility Department in general repairs and passivations.
Maintain GMP and SOP training compliance.
Support Process and Safety initiatives.
Assume responsibility for the GMP, environment health and safety
procedure awareness, compliance within the respective area.
Abide by LOTO, PPE and good housekeeping procedures.
Repair machine parts using general machine shop equipment and welding tools.
Ability to work in a confined space, entry is required.
Respirator qualification is required. (Training Provided)
Must be capable of working in the aseptic environment (Training Provided)
All other duties as assigned.
Scope of Position
Process daily work orders and preventive maintenance, which includes troubleshooting, repairing and upgrading the production, facility, and lab equipment.
Qualifications/Training:
On the Job Training provided:
Aseptic Gowning Certification.
Forklift & JLG Certification
Qualifications:
HS Diploma/GED required
Logical approach to troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
Good organizational skills, able to work quickly and under pressure.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must be detailed oriented and quality conscious.
Computer skills; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Able to use mechanics tools (hand tools, electrical tools, etc.)
Ability to operate lathe and milling machine preferred.
Minimum of 5 years applicable industry experience.
Shift : Monday - Friday 3:00pm to 11:30pm
Start Pay Range: $ 25.00
