Core Responsibilities

  • Ensure that machinery, equipment and production processes meets the reliability requirements of the company and product quality.

  • Effectively manage department resources

  • Coordinate staff area manufacturing engineering, process engineering, project engineering and Training area.

  • Support to Production and service areas.

  • Built capabilities into the the Molding areas through formal trainings and Academies

  • Feedback and supervision and set individual and group goals & manage budget.

  • Ensure development and implementation of continuous improvement plans.

  • Support the focus on safety in all activities of the department.

  • Implement and / or receipt of machinery, processes and new products.

  • Manage the flow of information between subordinates and Management.

  • Make development plans for the organization and the individuals in your organization.

  • Ensure the development in respect of work team, individuals and the total output of molding production area.

  • Perform periodic basis in formal and informal assessments as well as the performance and address any necessary development.

  • Ensure that the right competencies are present.

  • Develop KPI to evaluate the performance according with the company strategy.

  • Work with other sites globally to maintain the collaboration and share good practices.

  • Take responsibility for the appropriate integration and / or implementation of the QEHS System in the operational processes of your area and ensure its effectiveness.

  • Assign the necessary resources for the management of the QEHS system in the area.

  • Provide support, participate proactively and demonstrate leadership on QEHS in your area.

  • Comply with the QEHS legal requirements, standards (External / internal) and others applicable to your area.

  • Moulding Engineering is focus to assure our equipment and production processes accomplish with safety, reliability, product quality and confidentiality LEGO requirements.

  • Our key focus : Seek for excellence on moulding area through personnel development and the improvement of processes, as well as the implementation of new platforms, being self-sustainable and complying with our customers' expectations

  • Lead and manage engineering department to assure LEGO standards and requirements related to the area are accomplished in our operational processes, machinery and equipment in the most effective way and align with the company goals, strategy, values and principles.

Do you have what it takes?

  • From 3 years of experience as an Engineering Manager in Moulding

  • Degree in Engineer or Similar is preferred

  • Personnel management, analysis and problem solving, self-directed, results-oriented and customer focus.

  • Manufacturing processes, Plastic Injection, Microsoft Office, English language proficiency, strategic planning, Project Management

  • Advanced English level
