Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated, confident, and energetic full time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team.

Position Highlights:

  • Busy, well-established walk-in clinic location

  • Average 22-25 patients a day

  • Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm, hours subject to change

Responsibilities:

  • Obtains patient history and performs assessment via observation, interview and examination. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic studies. Performs health assessments, immunizations and patient care.

  • Provides direct treatment and management of health conditions

  • Counsels and educates patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.

  • Documents delivery of health care in accordance with specific specialty area standards

  • NP or PA open to apply

  • Physician Assistant with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Michigan Board Physician Assistants Task Force obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

  • Master's degree required. Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program required. AND Two years experience as a clinical practitioner performing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic tasks related to direct patient care at an approved site through an approved clinical education program preferred.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Required Credential(s):

• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
