Job Description:
The NA Marketing Agility team is charged with enabling marketing colleagues, North American, in leveraging the best practices of Agile methodology in delivering marketing campaigns and projects through the Marketing ABEDO process.
Job Description:
This position reports to the Senior Manager, NA Marketing Agility. The successful candidate is responsible for the orchestration and delivery of Marketing Agile ways of working – driving the process, providing guidance on its application and associated processes, protecting the team from outside distractions, facilitating ceremonies, removing impediments, etc.
Job Requirements:
Delivery of Marketing agile ways of working processes; owning enforcement of practices and ceremonies along with iteration and improvements
Capable of supporting up to 4 Marketing Agile teams or pods (dynamically balancing level of support based on needs)
Drive continuous improvement and change, acting as a change agent to adapt processes to maximize productivity throughout the project lifecycle
Engage appropriate stakeholders, including at leadership levels, to identify and manage impediments and required outcomes of projects for the business
Provide advice and guidance to pods regarding best practices in Agile project management, along with coaching other Marketing Scrum Masters
Ensure a collaborative culture exists within the team; promote team building and ensure team engagement
Work across the team to ensure artifacts and information are accurate and up to date
Ensure 100% compliance to required TDBG and Marketing project methodologies and procedures by ensuring processes, discipline and controls are consistently applied
Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to effectively influence individuals both internal and external and at various levels (including senior and executive audiences)
Manage on-going relationships and co-ordinate support from key internal and external business partners to ensure effective execution of deliverables
Actively work to resolve escalated issues effectively and manage any change within the project; should be an expert in conflict resolution
Develop mitigation/contingency plans for identified risks
Deliver timely and accurate status reporting and risk/issue management
Additional Information:
Both Agile and Marketing experience required (can be in separate roles)
Minimum 4 years agile project experience involving cross-functional and cross-business teams
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams; foster a positive and cohesive teamwork environment; and interact with all levels of stakeholders from various functional areas
Very Strong facilitation and communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong JIRA / Confluence experience preferred
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen
Strong Change Management skills
Educational Requirements/Accreditations:
Undergraduate or post graduate degree
Certified Scrum Master Required with Scaled Agile certification preferred (e.g. SAFe)
Change Management coursework or certification preferred (e.g. ProSci)
