Sr. Manager, Rural Delivery Tech Integration and Product Development

We are focused on building solutions that enable delivery teams to optimally perform and deliver all products and services to customers. Our Rural Delivery Business has an incredible opportunity to scale last mile delivery and reinvent solutions to optimize for success.

Position Summary

We are looking for a Senior Manager to enable their team to own new tech development and implement solutions across a large delivery infrastructure. You will work on the RSR organization but work with last mile tech developers and field operations to drive new solutions. The role involves significant use of data and user feedback to measure impact of strategy and is expected to make frequent senior level presentations to drive decisions at both ongoing and strategic levels.

Key job responsibilities

Key Product Management job functions are:

• Identify, build, and deliver strategic tech initiatives that grow Rural delivery through strategic partnerships with internal teams at Amazon

• Influence investment choices that will cultivate long term innovation and drive project planning through detailed roadmaps and milestone tracking

• Leads operational product strategy across an entire portfolio and works with other product teams globally to ensure strategies are aligned

• Compose Business Readiness Documents that estimate impact and entitlement; leveraging opportunities to advocate for specialized solutions

• Ensure appropriate coordination and communication with relevant business and cross functional stakeholders

• Understand business customer needs through direct customer interactions and through benchmarking

• Address barriers through problem solving and coordination with stakeholders and internal partners

• Develops and communicates department vision that supports the broader organizational vision

• Ensures team culture consistently demonstrates alignment with leadership principles

Basic Qualifications

  • 12+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • 6+ years of team management experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience engaging and influencing senior executives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $142,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $265,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
