We are looking to fill Utility Technician jobs.

The Utility Technician performs a variety of routine tasks related to the repair and maintenance of the water distribution and wastewater collections systems.

Minimum Education, Experience Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Possession of a valid drivers license, with no more than 4 points, and the ability to obtain and maintain a WSSC Water drivers permit within 90 days of hire or transfer date
• Must pass Department of Transportation physical and possess a DOT Medical Card
• Must obtain a valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Tanker endorsement within 1 year of hire or transfer and maintain it while in this role
• Employees in this position are designated or considered emergency personnel; therefore, the employee must report to work as scheduled or as directed by their supervisor when WSSC Water declares an event that requires emergency personnel to report to work
• Shift work, on-call, and mandatory overtime may be required
