What you’ll achieve

Lead the SB FMM team to drive and execute product strategy and strategic initiatives through developing Programs and Plays to enable sales to deliver in-quarter plan. Lead cross-functional engagement and alignment with Commercial CoC, CSB CoC, Supply chain….etc to drive product, pricing, and supply prioritization initiatives

You will:

  • Lead the FMMs to drive SB product strategy and enable sales to deliver in-quarter sales plan

  • Work as SB advocate to drive cross functional support on product, promotion, pricing, and supply initiatives

  • Be a trusted advisor with Sales Leadership to influence priorities and changes

  • Work with SB Sales leaders to improve sales close rate and pipeline conversion rate through sales enablement activities, such as programs, plays, product knowledge, industry insights, competitive landscape

  • Communicate new product launches and product transition needs to sales leadership & teams, and drive product transition through sales training, Smart Price enablement, etc.

  • Guide development of SB relevant product training programs and training content

  • Customize sales enablement content with focus on product differentiation, SB market trend, industry insights, competitive landscape

  • Support sales customer facing engagements, such as attending strategic partnership events, presenting in webinars

  • Connect local sales insights back to the CoC, Strategy, and PG for product planning, product transition, and strategic initiatives development

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong leadership skills, great cross-functional engagement and influential skills

  • Deep knowledge of PC market and products, pricing, demand and supply planning

  • In-depth disciplinary knowledge; leverages business acumen and subject matter expertise

  • Integrates deep subject matter expertise with: Industry experience; In-depth knowledge of professional standards and trends within area of expertise; Business goals and strategy

  • Understands impact of emerging business trends and their implications for Dell and its customers

  • Develops solutions to business problems or customer engagements and improve business performance and contribute to corporate goals and strategic intent through in- depth analysis, coordination and negotiation with key decision makers

  • Adapts and integrates own experience with segment and Dell-wide strategy. Decisions are strategic in nature, have long-term consequence, and tend to relate to business strategy, and financial performance

Desirable Requirements

  • Typically requires 10+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8+ years with a Master’s degree; or 5+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience

  • Previous experience on product line management, merchandising, cycle planning, or Sales are preferred
