Job details:
SI Procurement – EHS and Sustainability.
Ensure a close cooperation with Internal Customers to ensure customer care and early involvement
Areas of Responsibility:
EHS –
• Identification of Vendors for EHS evaluation based on Scope of work and ESN code.
• Preparing Project specific T&C with vendors in alignment with Procurement and Project Managers and further adherence.
• Evaluation of Vendors for EHS qualification in alignment with BU SCM and SI BU EHS –
• To ensure that all the contractor are qualified before onboarding - the whole VEF part including EHS qualification - this should be specific to the scope of work.
• Control on ESN codes related to Scope of work.
• Monthly Monitoring and tracking of EHS status of SI vendors.
• Proactively arranging re-evaluation of vendors to ensure compliance and further required actions for specific vendors in system for control.
• SPOC for EHS related Procurement activities.
• Periodic EHS meets and knowledge sharing workshop.
• Settlement and monitoring of EHS penalties and rewards on vendors.
• Monthly reporting on status on above topics.
Sustainability -
• Identification of Vendors to drive Sustainability topics with inputs from BU Procurement and nominate them on Siemens Sustainability Platform (SSP).
• To handle centrally within SI, Sustainability in Procurement like R4B, Carbon web assessment (CWA) , External Sustainability audit (ESA), and other related topics.
• Implement R4B processes in the SCM IT applications STAR and PEGA.(Ready-for-Business status (R4B) is basically mandatory for all external suppliers in SCM STAR for all third party vendors).
• On an yearly basis, identify vendors for ESA. Close coordination with suppliers and evaluating agency for conducting the audits and monitoring them.
• CO2 reduction initiative with vendors by setting up an “Carbon Reduction @ Suppliers” approach in close collaboration with our suppliers. Periodic monitoring and update on identified Sustainability measures with inputs from BU Procurement.
• Ensure a close cooperation with Internal Customers to ensure early involvement.
• Periodic Sustainability meets and knowledge sharing workshop.
• Monthly reporting on status on above topics.
