The BSA Quality Assurance Analyst I is responsible for relevant quality assurance matters through periodic reviews of the various functions within the BSA Department, and to escalate any deficiencies for awareness and/or potential action as appropriate to management. The BSA Quality Assurance Analyst I is also responsible for the monthly BSA quality assurance review of the Bank’s significant relationships, including critical Third-Party Payment Processors.

Key Responsibilities: · Performs quality assurance reviews within the context of the quality assurance plan for the various teams within the BSA Department. · Performs monthly BSA quality assurance reviews on the Bank’s significant relationships, including critical Third-Party Payment Processors. · Commits to identifying relevant quality assurance matters and escalates them for awareness and/or potential action as appropriate to management. · Remains abreast of regulatory changes, industry standards, best practices, quality assurance issues and risks, policies and procedures in order to identify gaps in controls. · Ensures identified deficiencies are addressed, tracked, remediated and monitored. · Performs other job related duties or special projects as assigned.

Competencies Required: · Effective organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines in a fast paced, high volume environment. · Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism while interacting with regulators, customers and internal team members. · Effective analytical and problem solving skills, with abilities in analyzing data patterns and investigating customer transactions. · Self starter possessing the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment. · Effective attention to detail and high concern for data accuracy with the ability to follow directions and apply proper policies, procedures and guidelines. · Working knowledge with banking policies, procedures, laws and regulations as they related to the Bank Secrecy Act with working knowledge of knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering and Currency Transaction Report activity review and filing requirements as defined by the FFIEC and FinCEN. · Proficiency with, or ability to quickly gain proficiency with, banking account monitoring and compliance software tools (Mozart, Bancline, BAM, SAR/CTR Manager, Evision), Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint), teller systems (TellerPlus) and internal portals.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience: · 1 years of applicable banking, risk management, or fraud detection/investigation experience required.

Formal Education & Certification: · High School Diploma or equivalent required. · Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance or related field preferred.

Work Status: · Full-Time.

Supervisory Responsibility: · None.

Travel: · 0% - Negligible amount of travel expected.

Working Conditions: · Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
