Could you be our next Accountants Receivable Supervisor?
We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled individual to join our Finance team as an Accounts Receivable Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for the direction, execution, and performance of the Franchise Accounting and Accounts Receivable functions. With 4 direct reports, you will lead and mentor a team, ensuring they are well-equipped to partner effectively with stakeholders and deliver exceptional service.
What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?
Team Leadership: Mentor and develop your team, ensuring they are well-trained and supported to excel in their roles
Financial Oversight: Oversee the monthly Franchise direct debit process, review complex calculations for rent, rebates, and charge-outs, and serve as an escalation point for any Franchise or debtor queries
Compliance and Quality: Ensure SOX compliance, customer satisfaction, and effective resolution of queries by gathering feedback and proactively managing issue resolution
Process Improvement: Drive improvement projects related to Order to Cash (OTC), with a focus on adding value by understanding customer needs and leading OTC transformation
Collaboration: Coordinate with internal and external compliance teams for audits and manage corrective actions as required
Data Integrity: Thoroughly review rent changes in the Tririga system, monitor data integrity, and address discrepancies promptly
Financial Reporting: Conduct monthly reviews of reconciliations and reporting and proactively manage balance sheet accounts
Risk Management: Conduct regular risk assessments, identify potential risks, and develop risk mitigation plans
Qualifications:
Your keys to success:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or relevant equivalent qualifications
Prior experience supervising an Accounts Receivable or Assistant Accounting team
Passion for innovation, we always want to find ways to do things better and more efficiently
Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and mentor your team and provide direction and support
Analytical thinking and a detail-oriented approach
Experience managing change and taking your team on the journey of transformation
Intrinsic drive and self-motivation to consistently achieve high-quality results
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey messages clearly and professionally
Great at building strong relationships with co-workers, stakeholders and third parties
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing and collaborative environment
Not essential, but highly regarded:
Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or a company with a franchising model
Experience in a Shared Service/Global Business Service model
Tririga experience
Oracle experience
Studying or have completed CPA/CA qualification
