Description:
The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing custom automated equipment. They will be designing for about 75%-80% of the time. They will take the initial concept of the machine design and then design the machines from there. They'll be working directly with the customers throughout this phase and will be required to identify what components are needed for purchase, design structure, brackets, mounts etc. and will need to identify things like cylinder size, valving and amount of force needed.
The other 25% will be involved on the floor helping build and assemble every machine or work cell they make. This will be very important for someone to learn and grow in their industry.
Skills & Qualifications:
Machine Design Experience
Solidworks experience
Experience designing automated equipment/machines
FEA experience
