Job Description

  1. Roles & Responsibility

(1) Drive improved product quality by identifying manufacturing issues, developing cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation into production.

(2) Ensuring regulatory compliance through Validation & Verification. Responsible for determining processes requiring validation, development of plans and analysis criteria, execution and final analysis and acceptance.

(3) To resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design.

(4) Participate in new product introductions through process layout, tool development, and new equipment.

(5) Develop new process and workstation designs to reduce cycle time and support the lean manufacturing initiative.

(6) Monitor and improve productivity, while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality and cost-conscious manner

(7) Troubleshoot production and packaging equipment

(8) Specify and expedite planned maintenance routines on all production equipment and systems Participate on the weekly cycle counts

(9) Co-ordination of manufacturing releases

(10) Develop production tools and databases

(11) Lead Compliance, as well as Environmental, Health & Safety efforts in support of plant goals

(12) Driving LEAN manufacturing implementation

(13) Provide safe processes that comply with all local and federal regulations. Assure that corrective action is taken to resolve observed safety concerns in all areas.

  1. Qualification/Requirements

(1) 5 years work experience in technical leadership role.

(2) Fluent oral and written English.

(1) Strong oral and written communication skills.

(2) Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

(3) Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

(4) Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.

(5) Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
