Aerotek is currently partnering with a company in Valdosta, GA who is looking to hire high level Diesel Technicians ASAP
Pay 24 - 30 per hour
Description:
Body shop tech will be responsible for:
Bumper to bumper repair/work on diesel trucks including Volvo trucks, vehicles with Cummins engines, Peter-built, MAC
Engine overhauls (BUT NO engine rebuilds)
Transmission repairs
Hands on mechanical work
Must be able to use software systems
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Education: none required
Certs: none required
Years experience: 3+ years preferred
Diesel apprenticeship or program would be great
Training newer technicians as needed and will take an online course regarding VOLVO software and repairs if they aren't VOLVO certified.
Key attributes of success: MUST be - Punctual, Have positive attitude, Be willing to learn, & ask questions when unsure. Software experience is a plus
