Continental Production Activity Leader - Tires in Timișoara, Romania

  • Acts as deputy for area manager whenever needed;

  • Prepares activity reports regarding previous day;

  • Ensures the losses/machine downtimes are collected from the machines and checks the accuracy and plausibility of data;

  • Perform standard audit in the area to ensure the right volume vs standards;

  • Performs audit and ensures layout respect & FEFO application;

  • Plans and organizes 5S workshops;

  • Prioritizes activities to manage existing workload;

  • Monitors and coordinates activities in Curing area taking into consideration the constraints (e.g. Health and Safety, Internal Regulation, etc.);

  • Coaches and develops the team in terms of knowledge, abilities and behaviors required;

  • Develops the team in accordance with the strategic direction of the Curing area;

  • Ensures that team members are trained, qualified and certified for their positions;

  • Identifies potential within the team for operators with multiple qualifications;

  • Initiates, coordinates and takes part as team member in projects;

  • Initiates and coordinates SPS activities;

  • Ensure that cleaning plan and the layout is respected;

  • Provides timely and consistent feedback.

  • Three years experience in similar position represents a plus;

  • Technical University degree;

  • Project management experience is a plus;

  • Previous leadership experience;

  • Leadership skills;

  • Problem solving skills;

  • Knowledge of quality procedures and systems;

  • Knowing and understanding the tire manufacturing process is a plus;

  • Advanced English level.
