What You Will Do
Are you ready to dive into the forefront of innovation? Located at our
state-of-the-art Jack E. Caveney Innovation Center (JECIC) facility, you
will be an integral part of our collaborative team dedicated to pushing
the boundaries of power electronic products.
As an Electrical Development Engineer, you\'ll be more than just an
engineer; you\'ll be a driving force behind the success of small to
medium-sized projects. From inception to execution, you\'ll be hands-on,
preparing models, conducting experiments, and analyzing results to
transform concepts into reality. Your expertise will not only contribute
to the design and development of products encompassing mechanical
systems, electronics componentry, software intelligence, and
electro-mechanical systems but also facilitate their seamless transition
into mass production. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing product specifications and providing essential support
throughout the development lifecycle for power electronic products.
- Spearheading the development of product specifications for sensors
and low voltage electronic components, ensuring they meet the
highest standards.
- Crafting and executing meticulous test plans for power electronic
products, ensuring their reliability and performance.
- Playing a crucial role in the development of power-based PCBAs,
harnessing your expertise to drive innovation.
- Contributing to the creation of cutting-edge electronic test
fixtures, essential for product validation and quality assurance.
- Conducting root cause analysis for field returns, employing your
analytical skills to identify and address underlying issues
effectively.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2-4 years\' experience in electrical engineering related field
- 2 Years\' experience with circuit design and schematic capture
- 1 Years\' experience with PCBA layout is a plus
- Embedded system design experience is a plus
- Experience with sensor new product development is a plus
- Experience with 208/415V AC Power Electronics new product
development is a plus
- Familiarity with typical lab equipment (power supply, oscilloscope,
DMM, etc.)
