Actalent Project Architect in Tinley Park, Illinois

Description:

  • Individual will be reporting and supporting the Principals on projects.

  • Will work with internal team members, external contractors and clients to ensure projects are meeting requirements and deadlines.

  • Will be working on all phases on projects from preliminary design through construction administration.

  • Will be running projects independently from start to finish to produce full sets of construction documents in Revit or AutoCAD.

  • Assist with building code and permitting requirements on projects.

  • May assist in creating renderings, 3D models and marketing/client presentations.

  • Will mentor and assist with the development of junior level team members when needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Architecture, Interior Architecture, or related degree is required

  • Licensure or on track towards licensure is highly preferred

  • 6 or more years of experience working at a traditional architecture firm

  • Experience working on commercial, hospitality and multifamily residential projects required

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, Revit is a plus

  • Proficient in Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite and Lumion are preferred

  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once
